TrendyCat™ offers the Tall which is 32" tall, sized to allow even large cats to fully stretch out while scratching. This allows them to mimic the instinctive behavior of wild cats that usually scratch on tree trunks while standing on their hind legs. Our Tall scratcher has a stable 15 3/4" square base that is heavy and sturdy to allow even the largest cats to scratch securely, without fear of tipping. The sisal mat surface is preferred by most cats over the usual rope, wood or carpet alternatives

Handcrafted in the USA, the TrendyCat Tall Scratcher has been carefully designed for durability. There are no exposed seams or edges on the durable sisal mat, eliminating weak points that are usually the first areas to fail in lesser posts. No particle board or smelly adhesives are used, preventing obnoxious odors that can annoy you and your cat. All parts are fastened with screws or bolts, not staples that often loosen or fail over time. The Tall Scratcher is shipped in two boxes, with all necessary tools and instructions to attach the base to the post. Replacement posts are available if your cats wear out the sisal after extensive use.
